The Cincinnati Movement Semi-Professional Basketball Organization
The Cincinnati Movement Semi-Professional Basketball Team is one of 24 teams in the UBA (Universal Basketball Association). Listed in the Northern Conference, The Movement is Cincinnati’s Premier team for amateur adult basketball players looking to play at a high level and on a competitive platform in the UBA. The UBA has a rich history in guiding players to the next level, sending 17 guys to Euro Basketball after the 2018 season.
Sponsors such as Gatorade, Molten Official Ball, EuroBasket, and Adidas have partnered with UBA teams as a source of marketing to the local communities and surrounding neighborhoods.
2019 Goals and Objectives
Our mission is to provide the city of Cincinnati homegrown entertainment though the sport of basketball, harnessing the rich basketball history of Cincinnati. Be apart of that history today! As Cincinnati’s only semi-professional basketball team we strive for achieving the following this 2019 Season:
- 15 Player Roster of elite basketball players
- 12 Game Regular Season Schedule (season begins March 9th, 2019)
- 2 Day Rigorous Try-Out Process
- Weekly Practices
- Community Service Events
- In/Out of town Scrimmages
- Season Ticket Sales
- Weekly Social Media Marketing
All Home Games will be played at Western Hills High School, 2144 Ferguson Road, Cincinnati, OH 45238 at 5:00pm. Western Hills is one of Cincinnati’s most famous gyms, with great seating and a central location in the city. Attendance expected to be 150 to 200 people per game.
Players will travel throughout the Northern Conference with destinations including Louisville, Indiana, Dayton, and Columbus. Post-Season play includes trips to Atlanta and Texas. Further information concerning the league can be answered upon request.
